How Chipin Hive works

Chipin Hive is for group plans that only make sense if everyone is in. Friends pay when they commit. If the Hive doesn't fill by the contribution deadline, we issue refunds to paid participants. Refunds typically take 5–10 business days to appear on your card after they're issued. Card payments may take additional time to settle before the organizer can withdraw.

1. Step 01

   Create a Hive

   Name the plan, set how many people are needed, and choose the amount each person contributes.

2. Step 02

   Share the link

   Send the public page over WhatsApp, Messages, or email. Friends open it on their phone and see the same clear totals.

3. Step 03

   Friends pay & commit

   Each person pays through Stripe when they commit. They can cancel for a refund while the Hive is still open. Issued refunds typically take 5–10 business days to appear on their card.

4. Step 04

   Goal reached → final

   When every spot is paid, commitments lock and the organizer can withdraw contributions once Stripe makes funds available. If the contribution deadline passes first without a full group, we issue refunds to paid participants (typically 5–10 business days to appear on their card after issuance).
